Saddlecrest was a rare and rewarding challenge.
We began this project designing for a family, and midway through it transitioned to an investor-owned build—requiring us to thoughtfully transform personal selections into a cohesive, elevated home for an unknown future buyer. We were fully up for it.
What followed was a complete architectural and spatial re-imagining. Our studio touched every part of this 7,000 sq ft home and its 2-acre property: expanding an ill-designed multi-level layout into an intuitive flow for everyday living and large-scale entertaining; optimizing a difficult lot line; filling in the original pool to create a more generous, functional yard; and crafting an outdoor environment that feels effortless and inviting.
Every square inch—every finish, plant, and placement—was curated through our studio. The design phase took four months, with the full project unfolding over two years.
The result? The highest price-per-square-foot sale ever recorded in the history of the neighborhood—an extraordinary win for the investor and a testament to the power of intentional, holistic design.
